Brasco is Australia’s leading non-manufacturing broker/wholesaler in cardboard packaging solutions with suppliers in NSW, Victoria, QLD and China. This enables Brasco to offer more options and more solutions than any other packaging manufacturer in Australia.
Current owner and GM, Brad Steyn, has had quite a few careers over the last 25 years; starting out as a musician touring Australia, he moved on to various roles with American Airlines, KLM and then IT Service Management with Qantas.
Brad joined Brasco Australia in early 2009 bringing his corporate governance and strong operational experience from Qantas to the business. He was certified as an ITiL practitioner at Qantas and drew on those principles to implement best practice systems and processes at Brasco. Brad is now the company’s General Manager, one of the owners and a Board member.
Since Brad joined the business, revenue has more than doubled with the company being placed 39th in the BRW fastest 100 growing companies in 2011. Brad is an active member of Family Business Australia and a member of one of their NSW Forum Groups. He is also on the board of the Newtown Jets Rugby League club.
Brasco Australia implemented an advisory board in February 2015 consisting of the three owners and 2 external board members.
Brad is married with three boys and enjoys a very active life with his family either on the water or the snow.
