Peter Poulos

Founder, Disappear Ink ex-MD Poulos Bros Group

Established in 1956, the Poulos Bros Group is one of Australia’s largest privately owned seafood wholesaling, processing and exporting operations.  Peter Poulos joined the family business in 1983 and, after numerous positions within the Group, spent his final nine years as the Group’s Managing Director. The company grew considerably during his 29 year career with turnover sitting at $100m by the time he exited in 2012.  Peter managed five successful acquisitions for the Group across three states, introduced industry leading inventory technology that reduced costs significantly and, despite some opposition, implemented a corporate restructure and Succession Plan.  He was Company Director of the Sydney Fish Market for five years and developed a strong media presence with regular TV and radio appearances, both as an industry spokesman and the face of the Poulos Bros brand.  After much introspection, Peter decided to leave the family business three years ago and has since embarked on a completely new adventure  He is now the co-owner of Disappear Ink Tattoo Removal, a specialist clinic that’s setting the gold standard in tattoo removal in Sydney.
